Construction AI Lab is a sudyco® initiative founded by Sue Dyer.
A growing community of more than 5,000 construction professionals committed to learning, experimenting, and sharing practical ways people and AI can work together.
At a conference last May, I asked dozens of construction leaders a simple question: “Are you using AI?”
Not one person said yes.
That surprised me — because over the past year AI had made me genuinely smarter, faster, and better at my work. I kept wondering: if it’s working this well for me, why isn’t anyone in construction using it? And if they’re not using it yet, what happens when they fall behind?
I decided to find out. And then share everything I learned.
That’s Construction AI Lab.
Every week I take a real question from a member — from foreman to executive — and go out to find what’s actually possible and practical with AI for that problem. I report back what works, what doesn’t, what’s not ready yet, and exactly how to implement it when it is.
My goal is simple: help you stay on top of your job in a world that’s changing fast — without adding more noise, more tools, or more complexity than you need.
Construction AI Lab is only as good as the questions we get from the field. Members bring the real challenges. We go find the answers. Together we figure out what’s actually possible with AI in construction.
Today, Construction AI Lab helps construction professionals separate hype from reality and discover practical ways people and AI can work together to improve project outcomes.
Every week — real questions investigated, real answers delivered, straight to your inbox. No sales pitch. Ever.
Join 5500+ construction professionals exploring practical AI for better results.
